Welcome to the Automotive Signing Agent (ASA) Certification course. This course is an informative learning experience intended to educate notaries and signing agents of documents, forms and processes associated with automotive signings.
This is not a state required course. It was developed to enhance the processes and practices of signing agents that want to be better prepared at automotive signings. This service area is growing rapidly and most Notaries don't know what to do, or what to expect. We hope this is a positive learning experience and adds value to your business.
An automotive signing is more than just witnessing a signature and the identity of the signer/s. Throughout the course, we cover the details of what Automotive Signing Agents should be aware of and the do's and don'ts associated with these signings. Similar to a loan signing, you should be able to walk the client/s through the paperwork and be familiar with the forms, contract details and signature lines.
